What a reviewed guide should show

Pregnancy food guidance needs careful review. A confident-sounding answer is not enough; people should be able to see where it came from and what conditions apply.

✳

These articles explain the product. Selected Australian food ratings are available in the app and link to official sources; they have not been individually clinician-reviewed by Bumpbites.

01

A named authority

Each guide should cite an authoritative source for the market it serves, with a direct link to the relevant advice.

02

Conditions in plain language

The current Australia entries describe relevant preparation, storage, and serving conditions. When a food is not covered, the checker leaves it unrated.

03

A review date

Each entry shows when its cited source was checked and, when published by the source, when that source was last reviewed or updated. Bumpbites has not individually clinician-reviewed these mappings.
