A food check in the Bumpbites app is designed to be easy to follow and honest about what it knows. The current food set maps selected Australian pregnancy guidance to official sources; other countries and unlisted foods remain unrated.

If preparation, ingredients, storage, or another detail could change an answer, the app should ask before continuing.

Australia ratings show the country, source, date checked, and any conditions. The source mappings are not individually clinician-reviewed by Bumpbites.
